Ambassador’s Room

The Ambassador’s Room «Saadiku tuba», which is actually one of the largest rooms, has been named after the Dutch ambassador whom Mayor Johann von Thieren hosted here at the request of the town council.

In thanks, the mayor became the owner of the property at Vene St. 5. Even though stores operated there in the Middle Ages, today it is a perfect classroom or conversation area. One can enter the modern auditorium directly from Vene St., while the cosier sofa room – perfect for private conversations – is hidden in the central part of the building.
